Jessica and Chris

I went to visit Jessica and Chris in Fayetteville, NC and did some fun family pictures. They're dogs, Bella, Meka, and Melia are so adorable and very photogenic! Bella, the Chihuahua is definitely the alpha dog. I don't think she realizes that she only weighs 2 pounds!

Thailand!

We recently returned from a very exciting trip to Thailand! The 24 hours of travel to get there was brutal, but worth it! We started out in Bangkok where we met up with our friends from Cincinatti (soon to be NYC). We then took a night train, then bus, then ferry all the way to the beautiful island of Ko Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. We found our way to Lamai Beach, a small white sand beach on the southeast side of the island. After a few days here we headed back to Bangkok only this time the train broke down.....twice! We ended up back in Bangkok about 12 hours later than scheduled! I'd seriously consider taking a flight next time! One of the highlights of the trip was the excellent food. Thai food has an amazing balance of hot, salty, and sweet. My favorite dishes were tom yum soup, and green curry chicken. I did have an adventurous whim and ate a grub....not so good! Our friend Geoff Ho however became a big fan of a more extreme culinary delight: banana bugs (this is no grasshopper let me tell you!) Anyway, enough babbling. These are tuk tuks the three wheel taxis. They were really fun! and Scary! they like to drive on the wrong side of the road into incoming traffic! Like playing chicken.

This is our Kayaking trip around the islands of Angthong National Park. This is the place that inspired the film "The Beach" with Leonardo Dicaprio. It was so beautiful!

So maybe I'm a little biased...It was so much fun shooting Reeve's, Allie and Lilly at the Botanical Gardens at UNCC. The best was when Lilly put a rock in her nose!
